Earn veil through bounty work

Anyone can earn veil through the Veil Bounty Program.

1. Bounty Development Process

Development tasks available for bounty rewards are specially-tagged Issues in the Veil GitHub repository.

  • Availability — Bounties are available only on issues tagged Bounty: Open
  • Application — If you are interested in working on a bounty issue, you should enter the Veil Development Discord, and request that the issue is reserved for you.
  • Interaction — As you work on the task, you can post questions and feedback as notes on the issue. In addition, interactive discussion with the Veil development team is available through the dedicated Veil Development Discord
  • Completion & payment — Once a task has been successfully completed, you will be paid the bounty in veil.

3. Veil Developer Team Structure

The follow list identifies the structure in place for Veil Developers. Those interested should reach out to us in the #community-bounty channel of the Veil Development Discord.

  • No title — Any person is able to earn up to 2,000 Veil of bounty per month.
  • Bounty Developer — Can earn up to 5,000 Veil per month. Minimum bounty earned per month should be kept above 4k in order to keep this status. Access to any bounty-dev level chats.
  • Jr. Core Developer — Receives a fixed payment of 5,000 Veil per month. Minimum bounty issues completed should be about 4.4k worth of bounty to keep this status. Can participate in sprint planning meetings, and are able to reserve issues and features to work on. Access to any Jr. Core or bounty-dev level chats.
  • Core Developer — Receives a fixed payment of 10k veil per month, and is required to complete about 8k worth of bounty to keep this status. Can participate in sprint planning meetings, and are able to reserve any issues or features to work on. Core Developers vote on GitHub Issues, determining bounty values, and have access to all chats.
